*SWIPE FOR ALL PICS* Introducing my #LasagnealForno! THE COMPONENTS: 1. This is a five-layer #lasagne. If you look closely under the top layer, there’s a thin layer, which blankets a super-velvety fresh #besciamella I made with a pinch of formaggio. On top of the meat and sauce layers are dedicated porcini mushroom layers. (I also tucked more besciamella atop each layer.) 🤤 2. I make flat egg #pasta for my lasagne al forno, not the curly storebought American kind. 3. I used the fabulous #homemade sauce I posted the other day, which I had freshly canned. 4. What you see oozing out is a happy marriage of besciamella and melted provolone. (As I’ve mentioned, I prefer provolone to mozzarella; provolone is more unctuous! I’ve also shown you how I make my own ricotta by hand using whole milk, but I never use ricotta in my #lasagna.)
