✎ Toby the Runaway Taco [🌮] .
This was my first statue that I designed and created successfully back in 2016. Unfortunately, he did not survive the clumsiness of my household and ended up falling off my desk; shattering into millions of tiny pieces. I actually did cry while throwing him away because he was one of my many treasured memories. .
Rest in pieces Toby, you were the most delicious good boy taco in this world. You will be dearly missed my son, I hope you find your way home.
I’ve been slowly working on a bigger hedgehog the last week and I I’m still trying to figure out how to do the quills. I think I got a way to do it thanks to a friend of mine just gotta give it a try. Definitely has some issues and I’m finding it super hard to get things even and smooth with how my hands are. But either way I think it’s cute and things will get better as I get stronger and better at clay. This is only my 3rd and 1st bigger thing I’ve made.
These office supply holders and other vessels for holding everything from flowers to candles, soap to sponges, snacks to car keys, Q-tips to cotton balls, will be available for purchase at the Vintage and Made Fair, Sept 28-29 in Adel, Iowa.
My first time throwing clay! I find that trying other creative activities really stimulates creativity in my own craft. It makes me think of new ideas and concepts that maybe don't relate to things like painting and drawing, but provides useful insight, or an alternate way of thinking. .
I ended up signing up for a weekly clay throwing class because I enjoyed it so much! If you're looking for a relaxed/meditative activity, I would recommend working with clay!
Hey guys, these are a few of the images I added to the gallery on loganmakeus.com. I picked some photos from the past two years that stand out to me as benchmarks in experiments and discoveries. This time of year is always interesting for me. My birthday is coming up, and it's almost the beginning of the holiday season. Before you know it 2020 will be here. It's easy to get lost in the whirlwind of this time of year. I look forward to taking this last quarter of the year to execute in ceramics and in apparel. I'm excited! I feel like I'm growing my skills as an artist and as a business man. Website updates will be a regular thing so make sure you check back often to see what's new. I've got another drop planned for the end of next month, I'll let you know more details as they solidify. 🖤
