You've been lied too!
DA isn't the be-all and end-all that some SEOs have been making out.
Yes, it does correlate that some of the big publications like New York Times, Daily Mail or Forbes so have high DAs.
However, I've also seen websites that are a pile of pants have a DA of 60.
While a much better site, has a DA of 30... Even though it had real content, a real audience and had a good social following.
So in the scenario that the DA isn't "high", ignore that, and think... what else does that link have going for it?
