This week was kind of crazy and since I missed a few days, I kept putting off posting!! .
Meals this week:
Tuesday: tacos (ground beef with corn, beans, and rice, and taco seasoning)
Wednesday : enchilada bake (made with leftover taco stuff, corn tortillas, and cheese of course.
Thursday: whole chickens cooked on the grill, by far my favorite meal of the week, and honestly the only one I ate. I usually end up making a chicken breast and having some frozen veggie we have on hand. (Healthy eating probs)
Friday: fried chicken
Saturday: hot dogs
The hubby stocked up on cheap easy foods for our children that never seem to stop eating, we got a bunch of good deals on stuff, like fried chicken $3 a box, we got 3 boxes but only ate 1.5, so the kids also polished those off when they were hungry. Whole chickens were about 3.20 each, we got 3, but have a ton of meat leftover, we need to use those in another meal this coming week. .
Since we did restocking we spent approximately $105 this week. Which was pretty good. We are right on track to finish the month off on budget!! I promise next week I will try and be better! 😉
