Hey everybody!!! It's been a while since you've actually seen our faces! This is me, I'm Caryn, and my husband, strongest supporter and biggest fan, Austin (Bear) *swipe* and our two kids, Jonathan and Lylah. We love Disney (stating the obvious) and my plastic skull decoration is my best selling product. I wanted to tell you all little bit about how it came about.
I love decorating our house for the holidays, particularly Halloween. I used to go all gore for the holidays, as, once upon a past life, I was known as the "zombie queen" for my special effects work in film. Our last Halloween before our son was born I had a "dead body" out front and it made a number of kids cry. I felt awful and realized I did not want to do gore for a while (at least until our kids were older) and began to drift towards more family friendly holiday decorations. What better than the Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland?
I sculpted a skull in clay and made a mold of it and cast it in plastic for myself. I got so many compliments on it I decided to list it on my etsy shop (2015). Some of you were my first skull customers and I want you to know how eternally grateful I am to you.
This is my fourth holiday season selling skulls and I have added a new version every year. I'm so in love with this #nightmarebeforechristmas
community on here and how wonderful, inspiring and supportive you all are. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever imagined I'd be hitting over 500 sales on Etsy, ever!
Please comment the first year you bought a skull from me, or, if you know me from my gore days, comment zombies! ❤️🖤💀🖤❤️
