We have become sort of regulars at #skythaijc - the food is delicious and a great value, setting is comforting, and the service is incredible! One time, we forgot our bottle opener there.... when we returned after 3 months, the hostess exclaimed when she saw us walk in, “I have something for you!” She held onto it the whole time, waiting to give it back to us when we returned.

Can’t beet plant-based ice cream on a hot day! 🌱 this @farmtospoon ice cream is made of cauliflower and other veggies and tastes SO creamy and delicious, you would never guess! Right now it’s only at the Wicker Park @nativefoodscafe but I hope it migrates to my freezer someday soon because it is so tasty! 🍦 I hope your day makes you as happy as this ice cream made me!

Last day taking a break from the food scale and tbh this mini break was exactly what I needed. It’s been so nice to not obsess over tracking and weighing everything. I haven’t ate any differently than I usually do, I didn’t go crazy with pizza, donuts, or anything out of the ordinary. I still had my egg white omelets, chicken, sweet potatoes, and big ass salad. I just listen to my body, ate when I was hungry and lived my best life. Although I did have some yasso frozen Greek yogurt last night & I will prob have some again tonight b/c well I want to & I can 😜 •
It’s all about balance and learning to not obsess over each and everything. Being consistent 99% of the time, having yasso a few times or any other little treats won’t kill you and shouldn’t throw you off track either. Eat it, enjoy it, and get back to it! •
Breakfast this morning was my same same egg white omelet with mushrooms, goveggie cheddar cheese, slaw mix, and ebtb seasoning with 2 dark chocolate kodiak protein waffles, w/ fresh 🍓, & almond butter.
