F1RST GRILL at Bukit Batok grills your favourite dishes in a charcoal oven, giving you that extra smoky flavour with each bite. We tried their Charcoal Grilled Tiger Prawns for S$20, which features six huge prawns drenched in sambal. They were fresh and juicy, with a nice bite to them. While the chilli gave the prawns a spicy kick, they came with the shells on, so the meat didn't absorb much of the spice. Nothing a little more sambal can't fix though! However, I felt that their charcoal-grilled sambal stringrays and Iberico spareribs best delivered the charred and smoky taste. You'll just have to give F1RST GRILL a go yourself to find out!
