Project SUPERHUMAN • Today I have been tested in the lab. We tested my lactate.
Your body needs energy for work. You get this energy from burning carbohydrates. At a normal effort level this energy generation happens with the help of just breathing oxygen.
But at a certain point of effort, the energy for your muscles can no longer be covered by this kind of energy generation. That’s the point when your body switches from aerobic to anaerobic metabolism. Thereby, sugar (carbohydrates) get transformed into lactic acid. In this process, lactate, which is the salt of lactic acid, is produced as the waste product. This leads to a high energy release. BUT when lactate becomes too much for the body to break down, your muscles begin to acidificate which means your muscles get tired 😴 and your performance level decreases ⬇️ Lactate production and breakdown varies from human to human.
Sooooo... doing this test will help me a lot in choosing the intensity in my endurance training, because I now know when my muscles produce too much lactate which means I know how far I am able to go and how far I have to go in order to get the best results for my endurance.
Secondly, they put on a breathing mask (put it off at the end and then the photo was taken, but I can tell you, it looked savage 😏) to find out my active metabolic rate. Has anyone ever told you that deadlifts are bad for your back ??
Well... let me set the record straight...
Deadlifts are NOT bad for your back.
In fact they are a great exercise to STRENGTHEN your back 🙏
However if deadlifts are performed with BAD technique - then yes - they would be BAD for your back.
But ANY exercise performed with incorrect technique will be bad for you...
So the first thing to ensure is that you’re performing GOOD TECHNIQUE ✔️
The second thing to address is your CORE STRENGTH 💡
Your core is what stabilises your spine and protects your back during any movements that load the spine (eg deadlifts, squats etc) 💯
So here’s 4 simple exercises which can be used to improve core strength and relieve lower back pain:
1. Bird Dogs x 10ea
2. Dead Bugs x 10ea
3. Side Planks x 20sec ea
4. Inch Worms x 10
These can be done anywhere and anytime 👌
I performed them at the beginning of my deadlift workout but they could also be performed every other day ✅

The biggest disaster of history is Martyrdom of Imam Hosein and his faithful companions.
A person who suffered martyrdom with his 72 faithful companion having parched lips, then their head were cut and their body were crushed under horse hooves and their family, wife, childes were took into captivity.
He is the grandchild of the Prophet inviting the world to the peace, justice and goodness. Imam Hosein mentioned that: I never give up oppression.
One of the characteristic of Imam Hosein is that every believer remind him will be sad.
40 days after martyrdom of Imam Hosein and his companions, his wife and childes taking into captivity were allowed to come back and meet his sacred tomb.
Shiite (Muslim who believe on Imam Hosein) named the day of Imam Martyrdom Ashoora and 40 days after that his wife and Childs were allowed to meet his scared tomb is called Arbaein.
Every year millions of people whether walking on their foot or by car from distant and neighbor country come to the Karbala on Arbaein.
Pilgrimage swear allegiance again with the goals and ideals of Imam Hosein including battling with oppression, avoiding dualism, infidelity, not giving up oppression.
Last year, population of Imam Hosein pilgrims maybe reached to the 20 millions.
This year, in spite of threat of daesh terrorist, more population wants to dispatch to Karbala from different countries.
The west media don't report this wonderful event and a rally of more than 20 millions or if they report, they show it unimportant.
The real Savior and real Messiah will introduce himself in this way when resurrecting: I am a person who wants to take revenge of Imam Hosein .
