David Bowie - Stage. If you could choose one particular era of Bowie’s career to have seen him perform live, which would you choose? Frankly, like most who didn’t get to see him perform, I’d be more than happy with any! If I really had to choose though, I think the era that Stage was recorded in would be right up there. The performances featured on Stage were taken from various shows throughout the tour for Station to Station. It heavily features both that album as well as many cuts from Low. Both of these albums have been high on my Bowie rotation lately. Throw in some great cuts from Heroes, Ziggy Stardust as well as a great live rendition of Fame and from where I’m sitting, you’ve got a pretty great setlist right there. With someone like Bowie, who has such a vast discography full of incredible songs, there’s bound to be a few personal favorites missing, but this one comes pretty close to perfection for me. So what would be your choice? Which era would you have loved to have seen Bowie in the most (if you weren’t lucky enough to ever see him perform)?
