Date morning, at Memphis Surgical center. 😂 .
Typically we do our dates on Saturdays and have dinner at a new place in Memphis, since we’re new to town. .
With my bunionectomy, we decided why not check out the surgical center?!? #tryingtobecute
Okay, seriously, it was TriLateral Bunionectomy day. My Prince Charming is the best, super supportive and helpful. Beside me all the way. The anesthesia was also amazing and the foot doesn’t feel all that bad. Probably due pain meds. Okay, it IS due to pain meds. .
This post is my introduction to recovery. I’m expecting 4months of wearing a boot and having restrictions. One month of sitting a lot.
This is my Intro. Week. It’s designed to let you rest and recover. It’s also here for me to think of what I will implement when I’m allowed.
And I’ve decided I’m starting with the basics. Will you start with me also???? The basics.
How to Not gain weight (also can be how to lose weight) . .
Rule 1:exercise is optional. It’s not happening for me. Think of it as extra credit, not the real home work. .
: Eat healthy and When Hungry. .
I’m going to eat healthy foods with the rule: eat when hungry. Do not eat if not hungry. .
It sounds super reasonable and simple. Trust me, it’s not easy. Why? Because of that primitive brain saying, ah heck, “it’s just one!!” It’s never one. .
I’ll give you the other rules as we go on, but trust me, this is the golden rule for weight loss.
