HI 🤗 I’m back 🤩 it sure has been a while!! I’ve still been on this account every day, I just haven’t posted in months. 🕐🕓🕒🕑 So let’s play catch up, where do I start — it’s no doubt that this year has been a roller coaster, mentally & physically. I’ve been *on & off with my eating & my work outs. *by “on & off” I definitely mean more OFF than on 🤭 ICYMI - I’M ENGAGED 💍 my fiancé (I’ll never get tired of saying that 🥰) proposed on the 14th of August after about 8.5 years together. I’m still on cloud 9 ☁️🥰😍❤️💍☁️ I’ve still been ordering @liteneasyofficial every week, it’s just so convenient & I know it works for me (when I stick to it 🙊😂). I’m still proud of myself even though at times it can feel like I’ve taken 1 step forward & 2 steps back. I’ve made a lot of progress mentally this year. I’ve gained weight - it’s no secret, I already posted about it a few months ago but the number on the scale doesn’t define me. 💁🏻‍♀️ I have to admit I definitely felt SO MUCH happier & carefree when I had reached my first major goal & I can’t wait to get back to that but I’m still happy right here, right now & I know I WILL get back there & even better. 😏 This is my life, I’m not going to put an unrelenting time limit on the things I want to achieve; don’t get me wrong I still have weight loss GOALS & other general life GOALS with rough time frames of when I would like to achieve them; but it always has & always will be about the journey, not just the destination! I have so many exciting events to look forward to - my engagement party, a holiday in Feb 2020, 3 weddings (so far) next year, MY WEDDING (only in 2022 but still counts hehe 🥰) & that’s just to name a few. This is my journey, I’m posting this for myself to be able to look back & see where I’ve come from as I still do frequently with all my previous posts 😊 enjoy my completely unrelated selfie 🥴 TL;DR 😛

Did you know this? Well tonight I googled after resurfacing some deep rooted things I have been through in my life. I wiped the dust off of my little tissue holder and went through the motions of some old emotions. Weightloss isn't just about the scale, the food,the workouts it's far more than that. Our fat cells can quite literally store our emotions. The ones we stuffed down with the cheeseburgers and pizza. This journey is truly eye opening! The idea that more small meals eaten regularly throughout the day is an easy one to believe. In fact, as a new PT I used to tell clients this to try to help. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Fortunately, my knowledge and understanding has grown a bit since then. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All foods have a metabolic cost attached to them for digestion and absorption of nutrients. Some are easy to process, some are harder, but on average most meals will work out to approx 10% of the meal calories going to process that meal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So regardless of how many meals you have in a day, whether it's 2 or 3, or 6, the calories burned will be the same across the day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What does matter with the number of meals is your ability to stick to your plan. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are told you need to eat 5 times a day, but struggle to eat 3 times, adjust your meal size up to get your calories and macros in. Woensdag weegdag: 1 kg erbij. Dit was verwacht, vandaag ongesteld geworden en dat zie je in mijn gewicht⤴️. Nu in 4 weken tijd 3,7 kg afgevallen, helemaal prima👌🏼. Ik leer steeds beter accepteren dat het afvallen niet gelijkmatig gaat. Soms beetje eraf, soms heel veel en soms wat erbij. Lichaam, cyclus, allemaal oke😊. In het kader van steeds beter voor mezelf zorgen doe ik op dag 1 vaak heel weinig, rust ik zoveel mogelijk uit omdat mijn lichaam dat vraagt, maar vandaag de hele dag een intensieve training voor mijn bedrijf, dus door knallen, paracetamol erin en gaan 💪🏼! ^ ^ #afvallen #weightloss #balans #healthy #acceptatie #gezondheid #selfcare #takingcareofme #woensdag #weegdag
Today’s yoga practice was GRRREAT! 👏🏻🙌🏻 It was a fun, challenging class that incorporated weights. It was so nice to finally get on my mat again after not practicing for 5 days due to work, sickness and class time/availability. I felt so much better after practicing this morning. After class I worked on my one legged wheel pose again and also worked on wall assisted forearm stand. I feel more stable and secure on my forearms and feel like a forearm stand will be in my practice sooner than a full hand or headstand will be. Striving to be better everyday. 💪🏻 Also had a couple non-scale victories today as well that I shared in my story. That I will attach in the last two pictures here. 🙂 #BREEABOUTIT

Guten Morgen Ihr Lieben 😍, Ich geniesse gerade meinen Kaffee und schaue unseren neuen Mitbewohnern beim spielen zu... Ganze 2 Wochen sind sie schon bei uns. Es ist schwierig aber es wird. Tonight's dinner was this stacked turkey burger. 🤤 High in flavor, high in calories, and high in satisfaction. You'd never know the secret to making these turkey burgers juicy is a whole GRATED ZUCCHINI (thanks @skinnytaste). 👌🏼 Even my picky four year old downed a whole 5 oz patty! ▪︎▪︎▪︎ To make the turkey patty mixture, I grated 1 large zucchini. Using a cheese cloth, I squeezed out as much excess moisture as possible and placed it in a bowl. I also grated 2 tbsp of fresh red onion and 1 tsp of fresh garlic and added that to my zucchini. I mixed in 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of pepper. Then I combined it with 2 lbs of lean ground turkey (fair warning, this mixture will be a bit sticky). Using my food scale, I measured out about 6 5-6 oz balls. I heat up my pan, and sprayed it with oil. I formed each ball into a patty shape and placed it in my heated pan. I let each patty cook 5-6 mins per side (resist the urge to flatten the patty with your spatula while cooking). That's it! ▪︎▪︎▪︎ Assemble your turkey burgers to your liking! I topped my patty with cheddar cheese, and placed it in a toasted brioche bun with mayo, mustard, lettuce, onion, tomato, dill pickles, turkey bacon, and avocado. I''m a recent new mum after giving birth to beautiful Freja just under 11 months ago. What you don't know is that when I gave birth I mentally struggled with my body image and avoided looking at myself in the mirror at all costs as I just didn't recognise the person staring back at me. I had Freja and felt like I still looked about about 8 months pregnant. I remember my breaking point and it was weighing myself and instead of my weight going down as everyone kept saying it would I saw the scales start creeping upwards. I had never been this big before and that shattered me, I felt heavy, unattractive and unauthetic and that got me down as I was so into my health and fitness before my pregnancy. I knew I couldn't keep using being pregnant and breastfeeding as an excuse for my habits and it was time to take action. I was introduced to this program by my beautiful sisters Mel and Alisha who both had phenominial transformations themselves just before my wedding 3 years ago so i knew I had the solution in my hands. Just 1 month after committing to this program I got back into my skinny jeans with little or no exercise. I look at this before and after photo and I feel like I cheated as it was just so simple and effective. The most important thing is now I feel like me again. I look at myself in the mirror and feel sexy, confident and ready to take on the world. Because of this I now feel like I'm the best version of me so I can be a better wife and better mum to Freja. I truly believe everyone deserves to feel like this. ❤

AS THE SAYING GOES; ALL GLORY COMES FROM DARING TO BEGIN! . My journey started in November 2017, I started working out early morning and continued till March 2018. Initially I didn’t notice much of a difference, I used to deprive myself of food, I used to skip meals because I was “Dieting” clearly I didn’t realise I was doing it all wrong. In nutrition, diet is the sum of food consumed by a person. We all think eating less is ‘dieting’ and that’s the only way one can lose weight/fat. ❌ That’s a big NO! (Later on I will be speaking more about it) . I started learning about clean/healthy eating, clean/healthy eating is when you consume right amount/quantity and quality of food depending on what your body-type requires. Its not standard, It changes from person to person. The moment I learnt about it, I decided to focus on what I intake as my food rather than working my ass off at gym since DIET plays 80% role in your transformation so clean/healthy eating is the way I opted for to go on a weight/fat loss journey. .
