A big THANK YOU to all of you who filled out my survey yesterday... your answers are key in helping me perfect my program for January!(more on this later) Speaking of which, it seems like a lot of you are looking for simple healthy weeknight meals... which is where the sheet pan meal comes in handy🙌Everything cooked on one pan easy peasy & I’m sharing one of my faves • • 👉Sheetpan Salmon with Broccolini & Baby Taters (serves 2): Preheat oven to 450. Cut half pound baby potatoes in half. Toss in 1 tsp olive oil + sprinkle of s & p. Spread on baking sheet, roast for 15 min. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine 1 Tbsp olive oil + 2 Tbsp lemon juice + 1 Tbsp coconut aminos (or soy sauce) + 1.5 tsp Dijon mustard + 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Sprinkle two, 4-6 oz salmon filets with s&p, brush half off sauce on salmon, let marinate while potatoes cook. When done, move potatoes to side of pan, add half pound broccolini + salmon next to it. Drizzle small amount of olive oil over broccolini, sprinkle with s&p. Bake @425 (lower oven temp) for 10 min, then broil for 2-3 min. Serve with remaining sauce

Life did not start when we were born, but our unique journey as a physical human did. There has been life before us, history engraved into this Earth & now developed society. When we are born into this world, we are then raised by beings who have been brought up on an alternative way of living/belief system. As we go along, we overtime experience conditioning. Subconsciously and consciously, most of it is out of our control at this stage. The ones who raise us dress us in the clothes they prefer, tell us what activities we can and cannot partake in, control the food we eat, the places we go. And of course when we are children, we also do not have decades of experience here to direct the way we process life. Hence why having ones to raise us is essential. It all comes down to how we are brought up - because we are unable to control this aspect this is when the subconscious programming comes in - It is also essential that we understand that our past does not define us, it is the actions we take now that will direct us along our path. No matter your upbringing, there is always a way to recreate your life - it all starts within. Creating the life of your dreams starts with your thoughts, as your thoughts create and shape your external world. Within this podcast, I delve further into the conditioning we endure at a young age, and also provide some guidance on how you can reprogram your mind from the past/limiting beliefs and systems you grew into. Today I added the coconut kefir into my chia pudding and WOW - the taste, the texture; SO GOOD! 🏋️‍♀️There are instances in my life when I feel really happy about going to work!😂 It's when I realize that working hours give me structure around my meals (among other rare occasions). *** I always have 🔹breakfast at 7-8 (overnight oats tomorrow), 🔹lunch at 11-12 (roasted pumpkin, boiled broccoli and honey and soya sauce pork), 🔹a snack (a banana) around 3 or 4. *** When I prepare my food in advance, I know I will not blow that part of the day. And I also know that I don't get too hungry late in the evening. Then I can only mess up those couple of hours when I come back from work. That's a win for me! This meal has all my faves.⠀ 🥑Recipe: Beans: Cook 1 chopped onion (small dice) in a little vegetable broth or sauté in olive oil until translucent, about 7 minutes. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and cook another minute. Mix in 1 tbsp tomato paste. Add 3 cups cooked black beans, 1 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp maple syrup and 1 tsp sriracha. Add desired amount of vegetable broth or bean liquid and simmer about 10 minutes, adding more liquid as needed. Salt and black pepper to taste. 🌱Sweet potatoes: prick sweet potatoes evenly over surface with fork. Bake on lined sheet at 400F until thickest part of potato is easily pierced with fork. “This may be the oddest and possibly most delicious mid-afternoon snack I’ve ever had.” (how I know I’m crushing Tuesday 😂) Little boiled red potatoes stuffed with roasted broccolini and a ton of cheddar. A drizzle of yogurt and Aleppo pepper and ta da. Basically a mini healthy version of your favorite steak side dish. Or a killer afternoon snack? Either way, quite tasty. And side note. The potatoes and broccolini were leftovers. Meaning this was on our plates in less than 15 minutes. Just winning today... 😉

In this series I’ll be sharing foods, products, and resources that are naturally low in harmful toxins and/or help our body’s natural ability to remove toxins. . Black bean vegan stroganoff! Black bean pasta has 25g protein per serving. Another great option is edemane pasta. Stroganoff recipe: fry garlic, muchroom, onion and broccoli (optional) in a pan. Once it's tender add vegetable stock, muchroom soy sause(or regular soy sauce), nutritional yeast, soy milk, pepper, thyme, cilantro or Basil, vegan Worcestershire sauce and any type of flour to thicken. Whisk together lightly to dissolve flour into a thick creamy sause. Also pictured: kale, avocado, and homemade Tahini Maple dressing. This is getting me so excited for Thanksgiving! —— Tahini Maple dressing: 1/3 c tahini, 1/4 c water, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp minced garlic (purée from @thatstastyorganic works great), and 1/4 tsp salt. Blend until smooth.

Taking a huge leap outside my comfort zone. Sharing myself more authentically, more of what truly lights me up and brings me energy. Singing is something I have always loved. When i was younger i had a karaoke machine i would blare my music from and sing as loud as i could. I've always had deep rooted passion for music, and recently I have tapped into feeling i should progress with it. Last week i attended a venue where local artists/musicians/bands come together and just vibe, it was open stage so anyone could go up and get musical. I felt so much energy within me and an inner voice telling me to go up there. So I did. I played some hand drums in the back. It was a big step for me and felt liberating, but I then felt that the background is not where I am meant to always be. In that moment I realized I am the main event. Maybe not in that exact moment, but it was a perspective that acted as a catalyst for pursuing whatever it is I feel called to do. A colourful breakfast to brighten up the day! “Snooniyeh” or “Aseeda”. . . It's called snooniyeh from the Arabic word "أسنان" which means "teeth", because vibrant bowls like this one were served to celebrate the beginning of a toddler's teething stage! It's nutrient-packed, extremely filling, low in calories, and packs a punch of flavours and textures. It's naturally sweetened with honey and can even be topped with honeycomb which would compliment the pistachios perfectly. 😍👌 We grew out our teeth a long time ago 😂 but we still love to enjoy a bowl of these beautiful ingredients for a nutritious breakfast or even as a satisfying snack! هالطبق كانت والدتي الله يرحمها تسميه عصيده او سنونيه 😉 ... بالنسبه الي هو طبق حبوب صحي باقدر اتناوله باي وقت من اليوم وباكون كتير سعيده بمكوناته وقوامه اللذيذ. . . Soak Barley or wheat grains overnight in water 2. The next day, cook grains by boiling them till tender 3. Place desired serving of barley in a bowl 4. Add ½ tsp of Rose water to the grains and mix in 5. Sweeten the grains by drizzling a table spoon of honey 6.
