| As the Autumn season rolls around in the Northern Hemisphere, I am embarking on a month-long mother daughter trip to London, Amsterdam, Florence and Venice! We're incredibly excited to be spending quality one on one time together exploring all the wonderful cultural, architectural, historical and contemporary travel offerings of these great cities.
A massive part of travel for us is enjoying all the culinary delights from fruit and vegetable markets to fine food produce. I'm lucky as my 11-year-old is quite the foodie and by that, I mean she really enjoys food and she's so open to trying new things. So much so we're parking ourselves in an apartment literally on top of Portobello Road Market in London, just so we will have the market right at our doorstep. ⠀
We will most definitely be trying as much street food as possible, buying fresh produce to cook as we're staying in apartments with full kitchens the whole time and of course going to fun cafes, restaurants and take out joints! Handmade pasta, poffertjes, gelato, traditional high tea, you name it, here we come!
Any recommendations of food we MUST simply try or cafes and restaurants we just have to go? I’d love to hear all your suggestions!
